SK8Rbella

I did this card for a color challenge #31 over at Mommy Scraps. I just used some leftover scraps I had. I knew there was a reason to keep that strip of CS that I die cut out of. It turned into my olive colored border!! Just enough left to make it useful.

Okay, so I totally drew this Bella. I like to draw. There just wasn't the skateboarder chick that I was looking for. So a salute to the Bella creators!! I made one based on their adorable Bellas.

OH SHANE!! LOL

So my kids are at my sisters today. Brandy called me to tell me some funny things Shane did today. First off, Shane is always telling some kind of crazy story. Brandy told him, "Someday you will get rich telling stories." SO then Shane, mind you he's 4, says, "If you give me a dollar, I will tell you a story." LOL Also I guess Brandy had a light bulb sitting on her computer desk for her lamp. So Shane goes over and grabs it, holds it over his head, and says "I have an idea!" LOL Well she had to call me and tell me this, so I had to share. Made me laugh!

The Christmas one I did with a QVC kit. I keep buying the dang things, because they look soo cute on TV. I ended up using it because it was Christmas, and I wanted to get these pics done.

So Very...sweet, happy, cute

Photobucket

I did this LO using the April BYOM kit. It had Fancy Pants PP in it. The stamp set I used was a SU one called "So Very" I stamped with Staz-on, on to the orange overlay. The little tags on the ribbon, are from Making Memories. I used the Tag Curler. The crown on Shane's head, is a die cut that came with the kit also. The exclamation point is by We R Memory Keepers. It is a glossy chipboard. I used some alcohol inks to give it a marbled look with some fun colors.

When I got the alcohol inks, I had to play with them, but wasn't quite sure how to. So I dug out some microscope slides and practiced on those. I used one color on each one to check out the colors they produced. I then referred back to those glass swatches for this. I will see about posting those soon!!

Moving Hay

This is my LO for the newsletter sketch from BYOM. Those girls come up with some great sketches!! I took the felt border(Queen & Co) and used it as a stencil. I then sprayed some Glimmer Mist, Latte. It made a great border. I added some hay paper. I have had it forever. Just waiting for Grandma to produce some pics with hay in them! The papers are Scrapworks Magpie collection.

It says:

taking it to Ron's
Wild Wayne on the trailer (seriously, that is what they call him)

Stampin Up and a little Trampin'

Photobucket

Here is my card I made up for Stampin' Up club. I used a fun Bella stamp. The LO design is from Sheetload of cards. The papers are Stampin Up. I used colored pencils to color her in, while I watch CSI Miami with my hubby.
I also got a little blog candy from Katie. There were only 2 of us who did her card sketch. I got a cute little mailbox with some fun moose images. They are cute, and I can't wait to color them.
Photobucket

While over at Khristi's for a little Trampin' get-together, I got some more goodies. Katie decorated this fun little box of yummy colored candy, and a fun little calendar book!! Khristi gave some fun little CTMH coins too! Not to mention the fun little paper pack Barb got us all.

Miss Kitty's Anatomy

Here is a LO of my Kitty's little babies.

Why "anatomy"?? The journaling says:

Miss Kitty was very proud of her kittens. Slick is the black and white cat. We name the rest after Gray's Anatomy. Meridith is the all gray one. Izzy was gray with white paws. Christina was gray with a little white one her. Slick was the only male.

Mike named Slick. So we couldn't call him McDreamy.

Martha's Blog room

Photobucket

Okay so I was checking out Martha's Daily Blog. And she was showing her "BLOG ROOM" Yes! She actually has a blog room. I am envious a bit. I barely have a scrapbook room. Which that will have to be moved when Rya and Shane are ready to have their own room. If they were only both girls or both boys... No, but my stuff will probably go out to the garage. It is heated and there is enough room. Oh that will be a sad day. Anyway, here is some of my room how it WAS, when it was clean. When I can afford an awesome garage room, then...I will post them. WAY LATER! (Rya and Shane, can't we just put a divider up in your room?)

Invitations

Here are the invites I made for Rya's party. I used the Sizzix file folder die to make the card. I then embossed it with some fun flowers using the BigShot embossing plates I got. I cut the little cupcake out from a sizzlit die I've had laying around. Stamped "birthday" on the folder tab.(my favorite part of the card) Printed out the info from the computer and BAM! INVITES DONE!

Rya's Birthday Card/Katie's Sketch

Here is the card I made for Rya's Birthday. Which is on the 18Th. She turns 7!!!! I used a sketch that Katie has posted on her blog for a chance to win some blog candy. I basically just needed some inspiration for the card. So go check it out for your chance to win. I used a Bella image I stamped while attending a small image stamping party at Katie's house. I used some papers left over from a kit from her. I used some pink Karen Foster floss to go around the image. I embossed the greed cs with my Quickutz. I used a CTMH birthday stamp. I flipped the sketch a bit. I couldn't get my saying on there how I wanted it to. To add some bling, I used some fun glitter to dress up the frosting.

For Stampin up Club

Here is the card I made for Stampin'Up Club last month. I used one of my kits from Katie I also used Sheetloads August issue for the LO design. It took me awhile, but it had kept me busy while my MIL was here. I was doing alot of double stamping, to make the imgages line up. I had to stamp on the backround and then on my little square, and keep them lined up good.
