Bounce and Recipe

This was the newsletter sketch from BYOM The papers were the new We R Memory Keepers line, White Out. It was the BYOM kit. The title was made with my Sizzlits and the Dinos are done using my QK.

I did this LO using my Well Worn papers from a kit awhile back. The kids were making some biscuits and I had to take pictures. When I find the recipe I used, I will write it in there. I don't remember which book it was from. The cute little bowl was from a metal set of cooking embellies I found.

These are the cards Rya and me made for Father's Day. I used "Well Worn" by Paperloft PPs. And a CTMH alphabet stamps. Rya made her own little creation. Drawing a picture of herself and daddy. It was pretty cute.

Baby cards and a wedding card

I made these using the cute little paper pack that Khristie gave me. The baby stamp was from one of my new CTMH sets. I used the foil that I had gotten from QVC quite awhile back. I made 2 types of cards. Baby announcements and "Thank You" cards

I used a DCWV wedding mat stack for these papers. I used my deco scissors to cut the letters out. I have so many of the scissors, but hardly ever use them. The stamp is CTMH and the inks are too. I used base and shadow colors, that the discontinued CTMH Color Combo book suggested. I love that book! I added the wire word "forever" from MM, along with a heart clip. I was just experimenting with the stamp set, and it turned into a wedding card.

Stampin Up Club

These are the cards I did. The paper was from a 8x8 paper pack I had. I used my Pun Fun stamp set from Stampin Up. They are super cute. I stamped with CTMH inks. Then I used color pencils to add a little bit of color. For the flower, I used my glue pen to fill in the area I wanted to foil. Then I took the special foil and layed it over the tacky glue spot and peeled it back. It left the foil flower. I tried it with the hippo's balloon but it wasn't quite working right so I used Stickles glitter glue. The skunk stamps says, "I stink your sweet" and the hippo stamp says "Hip-hippo-ray!"

Here is Bonny showing us about the faux SILK technique. You take tissue paper and stamp your image on it. Then you crumble it up to give it wrinklies. You use Mod Podge or a glue stick to cover a piece of CS and carefully smooth the tissue down. It was pretty fun. Something I had never really done. SO that was SUPER! We were kind of free to make whatever, using the new technique.

This is the card I made. I decided that my pieces are going to go together no matter what. It actually turned out cute.

All it all it was a fun night. Good food, good times. Oh and the food! LOL

Yellow Fence had a prize giveaway over on ScrapScene. I left a comment and won. I think their shirts are super cute. I am a fan of the "GOT MILK" ads. My fave is GOT SOUL of course. GOT PAPER is my fave scrapbook one!!! So thanks for the fun goodies. I got the things in the pic and also the cutest little container of mints.

Here are my goodies from Khristie. I had been wanting some CTMH reinkers and finally ordered some when I wanted to get the deal for the cool scrapbook kit they had for May. Plus one of their other kits.

Blk/White and Accent Color swap

These are the kits from the Blk/White Accent Swap I did Pink for my partner and she did green for me. It was a lot of fun finding goodies for it.
