Bring Your Own Memories Online swap

I did all these layouts the other weekend during an online crop. I basically stayed in my SB room all weekend. I did however feed and entertain the kids. They colored, cut, and stuck stickers on their own little projects.

This one was a button challenge from Laura. You had to use 10 buttons. I used up some of my Junkitz buttons. I spelled out "FAMILY" and then made a fun little string and button thing. I also used some CTMH papers. That kit has lasted for many LO's (Layouts). The zipper is from Junkitz also.

This challenge was Shannon's Punch challenge. You had to break out your punches. Which mine weren't hiding, because I decided that they were cool lately. I only needed a tag punch for the CareBears to make them pop out a bit more. I downloaded them off a free site one time to make Rya's CareBear Birthday page. I kept extras just for this page. I used All My Memories paper and took an orange ink pad and ran it across the premade color blocks. It gave the page more of a Halloween feel. I wanted to use the traditional colors but also keep the pink and blue. I had been keeping the candy wrapper for awhile also. I aslo "punched" holes for the cute little brads I got in a swap. I think they might be Queen and Company. The fibers were from Maya Road.

This challenge was Colleen's color challenge. You were to use brown and blue, along with white or cream. So I just kind of chopped up some papers that matched the theme. They were embossed papers. Pretty cool. I cut out the circles and the squares. I didn't want too much on the LO since it was only gonna be 1 page. I also chalked some of the squares to make them more brown than cream...I like how it turned out. I used my white Sharpie Paint pen to make fun polk-a-dot photo corners.

This challenge was Liz's "Old Loves" challenge. NO, not old boyfriends, but things you use to use all the time, and hardly touch now. So I picked the metal rimmed tags. I did use them all the time, and so I thought they would be great. Also I used a Jolee set of stickers. Those used to be all the rage for me, now I just have a lot. The papers are from the BYOM sept kit featuring Daisy D.

This sketch was based off of a calendar by Colleen. Also a challenge by Laura called "over the edge" Meaning you use some kind of edged cardstock. I made my own with a scallopped ruler and a black marker. The boarder stickers were some my mom bought for me from some where in Havre. Ben Franklins I think. I found a cute font for my journalling. I highlighted choice words with chalks.

This one was a sketch by Shannon. The cute bag of toys was made in a swap that we used to do here at the LSS (local scrapbook store) I think I know who made it, but now I am second guessing myself, so I don't want to put the wrong person. There papers were just some I pulled out of one of those Diecuts with a View books of paper.
