My last week of Scrappin'

This LO was done using a CD embellishment I made for an Army swap on Scrapbook.com. I used my new set of Stampin' UP stamps and also some Quickutz for my picture corners.

This page was of Mike and his army buddies in Washington playing some UNO. I did this page for a challenge that was to use numbers in your page. So it was perfect. The kids had gotten some little UNO cards awhile back, and since they wouldn't miss a few (esp since I find them all over the house) I decided to use them on my page.

At this resturant, they had people going around taking pictures so we all had to have it. This was up in the Stratosphere where the dining room actually moves 360 degrees in an hour. You don't even notice it move while you eat. I remember the burgers were like $20 on the menu. I don't remember what I got now.

Here are some layouts I did from the first time I was in Vegas in 98'. We stayed at the Stratospere. I got the room key, flyers and all sorts of goodies on my pages. While we were there, we went to the clothing Market for Bobbi and Company. I got business cards from many places, so I included them all. My pics all pretty much came out blurry, but I still like them and bring back memories, so I felt like I had to include them. Also Bobbi and me went on the roller coaster at New York, New York. I used the frame the put our picture in to add to my page. Because after all, no one has seen them stuck in my scrapbook room under piles of books and paper.

Mike went to a Baseball game when he was in Washington. It was the Baltimore Orioles vs. Seattle Mariners. I made him take his camera and keep me the ticket.

Sheepin' Around I did using My Mind's Eye kit I got from BYOM. The title is from a lss tag swap. It did say Horsin' but a couple letters got lost, so I made my own letters.

Stampin up card plus some extra goodies

I found a different usb

Now that I found a USB cord to replace my missing one...Here is a fun page I did for my sister's 30th Birthday. We had a suprise party. I used the napkin, appitizer pick, and coaster from the party in my page. I got the tag from a tag swap. I love the tag, it is sooo cute. I used my Stiletto QK alphabet. I also made my own (round pink) tag using the MM Tag Maker. I added some metal numbers in there and they went perfect.

HELP

I haven't been able to post any cool pics because I lost my USB cord somewhere in my scrapbook room. I will post some pics of it clean, but that is NOT how it looks now after Christmas.

BYOM August kit pages and a fun card

Here are some fun pages I did with my August kit. I had some fun pics from Rita who had taken these of the kids while babysitting them. And finally I got to Jesse's 3rd Birthday, (he just turned 5). He had a fun SpiderMan themed party. The tag was from a tag swap from Scrapbook.com. I told my pal I needed a spiderman one and she did an awesome job. Worked perfect with my kit papers. Can't go wrong with reds and blues for boy parties. I was going stamp happy: stampin' up and close to my heart. Having all the coordinating colors helps make the ink match perfect.

Swap Items

These are two of the items I have created for a "altered stuff" swap at Scrapbook.com. I did some deco squares and altered playing cards. I used the fun ribbon stamps I got from CTMH. I also used some paper glaze over some parts and also glitter paint. They needed "something" and the glaze and glitter added that extra flare it was missing. The papers for the deco sqares were from a QVC kit I got awhile back and barely had even opened. The card papers were just from a paper pack. Making use of my stamps is really fun. I told myself I needed to use them more to get my moneys worth.

BYOM Online Crop

I did all these for the scrapbook club I am in online. We had an online crop. For those of you that don't know, they post challenges, we create layouts from them. The first one I did was SCOOTER. I have had these pics for awhile waiting to get the scooter from Jolee's. Then I had that and couldn't find where I put dang pictures. Well anyway, the challenge was to use only blue, green, and either white or black papers and embellies. Which didn't work for my scooter sticker. But since these are not graded, I used them anyways. Either way, it still inspired me to do it. The other challenge I used with the same layout was a sketch. My favorite kind of challenge.
The next layout was a funny embarrasing pet picture. I used the funny pic of our new kitty Nibson right after her first bath. I used my CTMH stamps and my new Martha Stewart font stamps.
